Election of Officers for the 2023-2024 term.

The Nominating Committee will present the names of nominees for the 2023-24 Post 307 Executive Committee and additional nominations will be accepted from the floor.

Guest speaker

Former Army Engineering First Lieutenant, American Legion Post 307 member, and Bronze Star recipient, Mike Shaw, will be sharing some interesting military and Vietnam experiences.

Mike served as a platoon leader with C Company, 39th Combat Engineer Battalion in I Corps, headquartered at Chu Lai. Shaw shares a family military history with his cousin, retired General Hugh Shelton, who served two terms as the Department of Defense’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The meeting begins at 6:30 sharp and Mike’s talk is open to all veterans and the public.

General Membership meetings are now held at our new shared location at Sugar Hill Post 127’s Legion Hall, 6196 Suwanee Dam Road, Sugar Hill.

From Ga Hwy 20, go 3/4 mile north on Suwanee Dam Road. Turn left at the driveway marked “Legion Way”. The facility is at the end of Legion Way.
